| PORTRAIT
MARATHON
On
Saturday, October 6th, six Princeton Arts
Society artists will create portrait sketches of your child
for your purchase at the end of the day. It will be held
in the Princeton Art Society room at the Princeton Center.
50% of the money raised will help fund the Princeton Art
Society.
• These portrait sketches are informal drawing/portraits
and will be single portraits. The sketches may be in oil,
charcoal or pastel, in a size of choice by the artist.
• Participating artists include: Sharon Bahosh, Rosalie
Lazarus, Jean Murphy, Mary Pratt, Sid Solomon, and Lynn
Wrona
• Participating child must be 8 years old or older,
and must be able to sit still for a 30 minute sitting. Guardians
are asked to leave the room during the sitting.
• Each portrait sketch is $60.00, and at least one
purchase must be made. A $60.00 deposit must be made prior
to the sitting.
• Portrait sketches will be done and available for
purchase at 3:00 PM of the same day.
All sittings are currently booked. Other
portrait marathon's may be offered in the future. Please

INTRODUCTION
TO PAINTING WITH PASTELS
Princeton pastel painter and teacher Joanne
Quinn will lead a pastel painting workshop
on Saturday, November 3, 2007 from 9:00
am to 12:00 noon at the Princeton Center on Boylston Ave.
This is an introductory workshop: after a discussion and
brief demonstration, students will develop a still life
painting. Class size is limited to 9 so that individual
attention can be given.
The
cost of the class is $20 for Princeton Arts Society members
and $25 for non-members. To register, please call Susan
